Webinar – Conceptualising Education for Sustainable Futures: Framing the work of the TESF Network Plus

Event Date : 22 July 2020

Event Time : 12:00 - 13:30 (UK)

This inter-active webinar will explore ways of conceiving education for sustainable futures linked to a vision of social and environmental justice. Discussion and debate arising from the webinar will feed into our ongoing efforts in framing the work of the Transforming Education for Sustainable Futures (TESF) Network Plus. TESF aims to co-produce new knowledge on how education and training systems can support decent work, sustainable livelihoods, sustainable cities and climate action across four countries (India, Rwanda, Somalia/Somaliland and South Africa). The seminar will also provide an opportunity to engage with the work of TESF and find out more about the upcoming call for proposals which will be launched in December 2020.

This event is part of the School of Education’s Bristol Conversations in Education research seminar series. These seminars are free and open to the public.

Co-hosted by the Centre for Comparative and International Research in Education (CIRE) and TESF.

A video recording of the webinar is available here.
