TESF Filmmakers begin to tell their stories

We are delighted to introduce the first round of films that have been submitted by a number of TESF filmmakers. Combining the power of a mobile phone in their pockets with their passion for education, 54 researchers from the TESF programme have embarked on a Mobile Journalism (MoJo) training programme this year with a number of professional filmmakers in the global South to develop their technical skills and approach to communicating a powerful story.

All films will be showcased as part of the TESF Film Festival to be hosted at the end of April 2023 (exact dates to be confirmed). We will also be collaborating with country hubs to host in-person film festival screenings to help share the amazing work coming out of these TESF projects.

Here is a sneak peek at the first round of submissions. We’re looking forward to sharing many more with you over the coming months.
